Applications
Trailering Special Equipment Package
If you intend to use your Savana cargo van for towing, we recommend the available Trailering Special Equipment Package. This package includes a weight distributing platform trailer hitch receiver and a 7-lead wiring harness and connector. Additional transmission oil cooling is included with the Duramax 6.6L Diesel, available with the 4.8L V8 and required with the 6.0L V8.

Which Wheelbase is Right For You?
Two wheelbases provide two load floor lengths. The regular wheelbase models have a load floor length of over 3429 mm (10 feet) to the front seats. Long wheelbase models feature a long load floor length at over 3937 mm (12 feet). Select a regular or long wheelbase model based on your load floor length or volume requirements. Your cargo weight will determine the series and GVWR best suited to your business needs. GVWR’s from 3266 kg (7200 lb.) to 4355 kg (9600 lb.) can handle payloads up to 1881 kg (4147 lb.).
Regular wheelbase models offer optional swing-out cargo doors on the driver side for improved cargo-handling convenience.
